DVB Explorer How to: How to hardware reset the DVB Explorer?.
There are two options to hardware reset the DBV Explorer. Option 1 - If the device is used via USB, simply disconnect the connector and reconnect it after a few minutes. Option 2 - If the device is used with satellite connection, and power supply used for LBN is connected to the device, disconnect the power supply and wait for a few minutes before connection the power supply again.
DVB Explorer How to: I have installed the Software but the device is not accessible via USB? What might be the problem?
n order for the installation process to be properly completed, it is mandatory for the user to have Administrator rights on the PC/laptop used. If due to any reason, you have installed the software with User rights, the USB drivers will not be properly installed and the following procedure must be completed:
- Make sure that you have Administrator rights on the PC/Laptop;
- Disconnect DVB Explorer device from the USB;
- Uninstall the Software;
- From the Device Manager, activate Show hidden devices (depicted below).
- Consistently uninstall all the positions related to the DEVA DVB Explorer (Picture 1) with activated Delete the driver software for this device (Picture 2).
- Reboot the computer.
- Log-in with administrator rights.
- If after the de-installation process, the folders listed below still exist, make sure to delete them along with their entire content: · Folder C:\Windows\System32\DEVAUSB · Folder C:\Windows\System32\drivers\DEVAUSB.sys
- Run and install the latest version of the Software as an Administrator.
- Open the Device Manager and check for any possible errors.
- If everything is OK, connect the DVB Explorer device directly to the USB port.
- Start DVBExplorer.exe
